Marissa Gart
Marissa Gart is a strategic family law attorney with more than 15 years of litigation experience representing clients in high-conflict and high-asset matters. She is known for delivering clear, results-driven counsel, sophisticated financial analysis, and effective courtroom advocacy. Marissa skillfully negotiates favorable resolutions while preparing every case with the diligence and strategy required for trial.
Her experience in marital and family law is extensive and includes dissolution of marriage, timesharing and parenting matters, equitable distribution of assets and liabilities, alimony, child support, pre-nuptial agreements, and collaborative divorce. Marissa is committed to providing clients with efficient and productive legal experience through education, strategic planning, and ongoing evaluation of options as each case progresses.
Raised in Boca Raton, Marissa returned to her hometown after graduating from the University of Michigan and earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. Since then, she has built an excellent reputation among clients and within the South Florida legal community for her professionalism, preparation, and advocacy.
In addition to family law, Marissa has litigated matters involving criminal defense, insurance defense, and employment law, providing her with broad courtroom and negotiation experience that benefits her family law clients.
Marissa is a member of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association. Outside of her practice, she enjoys running, cross training, reading, cooking, and spending time with her dog, Charlie.
