Renee Safier Harris

Renée Safier Harris, Esq., B.C.S. is an expert attorney in Marital and Family Law in Florida. Renée has represented clients in this complex area of the law in South Florida for the last 25 years and is passionate about helping clients move through a difficult process as seamlessly as possible, providing important legal guidance so that you can make the best decisions possible for your family under the circumstances. Renée diligently represents clients in all areas of marital and family law, including dissolution of marriage, division of property, alimony, child support, attorney’s fees and costs, post-judgment proceedings (modifications, contempt and enforcement), paternity, prenuptial agreements and post-nuptial agreements, and domestic violence matters. Renée obtained her undergraduate degree in Economics from Emory University in Atlanta, GA and received her law degree from The George Washington University Law School in Washington D.C.
Karen Nesteriak-Astor

Karen Nesteriak-Astor is a Florida Registered Paralegal with the State of Florida. She has worked with Ms. Harris as her paralegal for approximately the last 7 – 8 years and is an integral part of this firm and each client’s case. Karen has worked in the legal field for the past 26 years primarily in marital and family law. She attended Dover College’s Legal Assistant/Paralegal Program and graduated top of her class. Thereafter, primarily worked in the area of marital and family law in New Jersey until she moved to Florida in 2003. She became a Florida Registered Paralegal and a member of The Florida Bar in 2009 and her membership continues to date. She regularly attends the meetings for the local Chapter of Paralegal Association of Florida and the National Association of Legal Assistants. She has led several Divorcecare classes and other support groups in her local community. Karen prides herself on her compassion and empathy, her knowledge and attention to details as she works with our clients during their marital and family law matters. She is married to her husband, Michael. She has two adult children, two adult stepchildren and two dogs.
